although the proportion of female staff in the organisation has remained steady at 55 per cent, the proportion of women in our junior grades6has grown by 2 per centand the proportion of women in oursenior management broadband (SMB)7roles has fallen by 1.5 per cent and fallen by 2 per cent in our ‘senior level8’ roles. On ethnicity we’ve seen a small increase in the proportion of minority ethnic staff in senior management and the proportion in junior grades has reduced by around 5 per cent. These would seem to be the reason why our ethnicity pay gaps have not widened as much as our genderpay gaps.

The potential reason that BAME pay gaps haven’t widened as much as gender pay gaps.
