
72% of employees said that they had fair access to progression opportunitiesin their organisation, but 13% said they did not.Research suggests that feeling included at work reflects not only how we are treatedby our peers and those in positions of authority, but also by whether processes andpolicies, especially relating to reward and progression, are perceived as fair. All ofthese elements are inter-linked. If someone observes, for example, HR processes asbeing unfair to an individual or group, they themselves may be less inclined to be openwith the people around them.8 Systems and processes affect every employee, includingtheir sense of inclusion.This Survey found that only 72% of employees said they had fair access to progressionopportunities within their organisation. Around 1 in 8 said that this was not the case.
