DP21/2: Diversity and inclusion in the financial sector – working together to drive change

To meet the regulators’ expectations around the standard of care that firms should provide to consumers, for example the expectations recently articulated by the FCA in its Guidance for firms on the fair treatment of vulnerable customers and consultation on a new Consumer Duty (CP 21/13), firms will need to be able to recognise and respond to the diverse needs of their customers and potential customers. We believe that increased diversity and inclusion will support them to do this
